Hey David B. Himself (npub1ycf…m7nk) if you want to have the "templating" back, you have to change the "Activity-Object-Type" settings, from "Automatic" to "Note". Automatic, tries to "understand" what type of post you publish to use the best template for it. I am sorry that this does not work for you.
Can you maybe send me some example links or images?
