I think you are missing the point. The point was, I would never have seen your contrarian note comment or replied. Because it would never find it. I too, hate 'notifications'. I go and look for them, I do not allow them to ping me. Pull, not push. At my leisure. I hope this helps you understand. I was on-call for years and I do not allow being pinged anymore.
