my city has an excellent history of pulling together at times like this before the fash even get their foot in the door. They find it intimidating here because it's one of the most culturally diverse cities and we all crack on with it getting along just fine. The only reason the EDL, PA, etc ever show up here is because they've got a ridicule kink.
Places like this are important to show that it can be done, it's been awful here before and we've turned it around to say "never again"
