For sure. I agree. I am most heavy in Bitcoin, and a part silver and xmr.
There is an underlying economy in xmr, so I would say there is a floor in price, that the economy supports. And it is slowly rising. Not arguing against your point, just speaking my mind from what I gathered.
To me, it is a concern that bitcoin, other than SoV, is not delivering on p2p cash.
I would add, for me at least, this is also a parallel economy game, or an anti state game. And what ever that supports that is an important tool. I have no faith in "(.....) Only" or maxi mentality, the market can have many options. Depends on what you want to achieve.
There are some marketplace's on xmr, though I have not used them. I have found merchants on nostr that I have transacted with in both Lightning and xmr.
SoV can be, and always have been, multiple things.
