I disagree, you can't separate SoV from MoE.
Right now, fiat is a better MoE than bitcoin or xmr but I will not store my value in either. I value my privacy but I'm not purchasing illicit substances online. Australia is at the end of the world & it costs a fortune in shipping to send stuff here. In person trades are more important to me.
I can easily swap bitcoin for cash or xmr if I need to. I've never needed to aquire xmr for a trade, but I can see it as a possibility.
Unless a silk road 2.0 is created that makes it easy for normies to aquire stuff in xmr, I doubt xmr will have the widescale demand to support it as a SoV. I think Bitcoin is severely underpriced right now & is well overdue for a significant correction.
This is the SoV game, you place your bets & the free market decides the winners & losers. Be careful.
