I worked at a large tech firm where the women told every new hire to not get into an elevator alone with one of our highest ranking executives.

Why didn't they complain to HR?

But this exec... well, he's SUPER tight with leadership, especially the investors. Because his team was responsible for bringing in massive amounts of revenue.

Moral of the story: Bring in enough cash, you can harass with impunity.
