Prologue > Does/will your WIP have a prologue. Share a snippet if you've written one. How do you feel about prologues?
I have no strong opinions about prologues except my brain cannot retain a large wall of text info dump about places & characters who are strangers to me. I keep having to go back to the front to look things up. I prefer short ones that set a mood, preferably with dialogue and/or action.
I've not had reason to use one in my books as of yet & no plans.
