So I'm still not connected to my wife's server and I have to wait til Friday when I can go back and at least enable yggdrasil to get access... but meanwhile I found stress-ng and now I think I'll run the --iomix stress tests for 2 days straight over the weekend. if a hard drive wants to fail I'd rather know now.
