It's weird popping into American Libertarian spaces. I occassionally visit a meetup hosted by a libertarian thinktank. The last one unfolded thusly:
Socializing: talked to one woman who thinks Jeff Berwick is a Fed and the *new* Anarchopulco will be better without him. Talked to a man obsessed with UFO's.
Meeting minutes: someone brought a giant jar of magic mushrooms and wants to arrange sales. Someone wants to announce their upcoming local We Are Change (9/11 conspiracy org) meetup. Someone wants to announce their estate planning on the blockchain meetup.
Speaker: Shitcoins are stupid. Audience hates this message, and proceeds to sealion the presentation by pointing out that the massive amount of shitcoin scams are akshually good and are a sign of competition, and in no way create noise that prevent people from finding actual useful legitimate products, and the SEC actually is bad for interrupting free market activity by prosecuting blatant scams.
