Ah, but #Trump's tariff posturing only managed to postpone the EU verdict by 5 days. And while the monetary fine is what most people will focus on, the painful part for Google is are the restructuring conditions attached. Which Google can try to fulfil, but which might be only doable by splitting the company. Which the EY still might order if Google does not prove to the EC that they can decouple adtech completely inside one company.
