well damn, I'm seeing conflicting info about that model. Some sites say it's PCIe SSD, others say SATA SSD. Acer didn't publish a service manual as far as I can see.

Other things I'd try before giving up are turning on legacy/CSM in BIOS and booting Debian as legacy instead of EFI; and swapping the SSD with a spare if you have one and see if Debian sees that one.
