I never bothered with swatching, or if I did, I did a tiny one and didn’t wash it.
I learned the hard way the error of my ways when I finished a jumper for myself and it came out looking like the image on the left. It was terrible.
I managed to felt it to size through pure blind luck (it lost some stitch definition but looks good I think) so I swore after that to always swatch and wash and block the swatch 😂
This is a bespoke custom jumper I’m making now so I want to make sure it fits and doesn’t end up being a poncho haha.
