One other concern I have after seeing everything the last few weeks is that there is likely already morally corrupt data on the current chain. If a sound money chain were to ever catch up after the miners colluded against us today, I would not be surprised if that was used against node runners on the sound money chain. For that reason (and this is probably a hot take), I think starting fresh from the genesis block is my ideal option, unless we can hardfork at a predetermined future block and prune all the data on the current chain.
