If you just want a BASIC-like language, and are not interested in learning how to implement a language, then I'd just go with Lua. It is very lightweight and easy to port to any platform. It also has some pretty good libraries, like the LOVE game programming framework.
Forth and Scheme are also good choices for very small computers.
