Yes! I just responded to a similar post a few seconds ago... those of us demanding for more and much harsher consequences for Israel's crimes, are eager to see them enacted asap, but I've come to understand that the West's reluctance to do so is because, for many reasons, Israel is intrinsically tied to Western power, in other words, when it comes to the West, sanctioning and punishing Israel is tantamount to punishing and sanctioning itself.
Serious sanctions and consequences will come, but at first it will only look like this, mild and sporadic.
