Wouldn't the best tool for drone defense be a light 5m stick with a net? Sure, a drone exploding 5m from me can hurt me, too but it most likely won't hurt me badly or even kill me.
Seeing tons of videos of soldiers trying to get a tree between them and an approaching drone or trying to shoot the drone at a distance but then still getting hit directly ...
