I am very curious as to how this will all play out. Arrests may have been made under terrorist legislation for appearing to support a proscribed group. But how many charges have subsequently been brought and on what basis? Terrorism offences are very unlikely to be tried by a magistrate, but what if a lesser charge is brought, like being a ‘public nuisance’?
