I was just watching Beastmaster 2, & even the costuming in THAT film seems to have been done with more care than this (although we shall see, I suppose).
It's not that the costumes in Beastmaster 2 (or Beastmaster for that matter) were excellent as such, but I actually remarked to Spouse at the time that it felt like the costumers made the most of what resources & time they had. It felt like someone somewhere *tried*.
