Yeah. I have trouble respecting intellectuals that don't have some math and physics background. In college I did a lot of teeth gritting when professors said stupid stuff that may have sounded smart to themselves and their little world, but was completely off the rails of reality and logic.
I am saying that as a guy who buys the Catholic story hook line and sinker. I don't care if you have untestable premises, I care immensely if what you are saying follows from those premises. Also learning a bit a science really helps people not say things that directly contradict things that CAN be measured.
