Sometimes it’s good for me to read a bit of an SF book that I don’t enjoy as much. Always studying my favorite authors who are more experienced and can craft stories in ways that I have not worked out yet is inspiring. But it’s also good to read something that makes me think “I can do this. Hell. I can do better”
