I use this quote to try summarizing some (defnitly not all) parts of this 8h presentation. For me it is very good to have those ideas shared with me. And thought, when I write a small summary, maby some other people have the courage to listen into a powerful widespaning presentation:
My Summary to the referenced video presentation to natural law:
Natural is used as to say independent from our thoughts. Factual could be an other similar word. As an example the idea, that "life is finite and ends at some point" is independent of our perception of this idea. It is true when I see and accept it like this. And it will behave just the same way, when I reject this idea.
It is also a talk about belief. If there is an objective truth or not. The referent (and I) beliefe, there is a objective truth, which applies to all beings on this planet in the same way.
Since when I would think there was no objective truth.
The alternative would be, that the reality around me depends on my perception and therefore I create the realities around me. But why would I be intrested in any book, what members of society say, how my family members are doing and just about whatever happens? Since when there is no absolut truth, I have no connection point to influence my surrounding. I would be pointless to start or go into a conversation.
But there most probably is an objectiv truth. And this objectiv truth only exists in the past and in the presence. But not in the future. Since the future depends un unforseeable actions, that collide and then create the new truth second by second.
This truth does also not depend on our perception (as it is natural). We can try to see and learn about these particles of truth everywhere. Through hypothesis, tasting those and concluding, we can get a more informed view about truth.
But all laws about nature, that we discover today, existed also before anyone discovered it. The planet earth was circeling t.e sun before humanity existed. And continues doing so after Aristarchus of Samos expressed 270BCE, that the earth circles around the sun.
And just like with every scientific revelation, many Ideas I hold today, can be falsified in the future maby. But the truth is what never moves. Truth needs no one to understand it. It needs no defendants. And it obejs no oppressors. Because it stands above all. Above every sovereign entity.
And we thoutful human can observe truth when we really try to see. But we have to understand, that truth does not try to please our feelings. It does not follow any narrative. It was all here before us. It will be without us.
