I went by an article that said if the silk had gone from golden to dark brown and dry, it was ready. Either bad advice or my corn just needed to be boiled for 30 minutes rather than 15. Usually I would boil corn ten minutes, but it was obvious that it wasn’t ready so I gave it another five. Still too chewy.
