Some, but a strong requirement is that I want the publication to be able to federate. We were pretty much the first publication in the network to do it, and I don't want to give up on that experiment.
I've had some interest in Ghost, but it's too underdeveloped for what I'm looking for. Have also considered working with Bonfire, but that might require a lot of custom development for publishing.
The WordPress ActivityPub integration is quite good, and developed by good people. I'm not above fighting with the presentation system for the short term.
