Labour is keeping its election promise that there would be 'no return to austerity'... you cannot 'return' to something you've never left.
Whether this is how they see justifying what they're doing or whether Rachel Reeves will continue with her 'world has changed' narrative to justify another tightening of the austerity vice is really of little importance... what matters is actions;
those have become pretty clear, so they'll be no return to austerity because we are here already!
