YES -- That is the point I have been trying to make, and it is only getting worse.
I started working for Meta, nearly the end of 2020, during the pandemic. And while the company was not perfect, it is nothing like how when I started, as things have gotten so much worse. And when Donald Trump took office, while most of you were watching things happen quickly in full view of the public, a lot has been going on behind the scene, and not just at Meta.
A few months ago, if people were paying attention (they likely were not), a lot of corporations, Meta included, started sending wave after wave of notification about their policies changing. Everything from Meta to X, Twitch, Google, but also to Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and the list goes on and on.
I cannot speak for all of those places, and sure, it sounds crazy (I know), but we're sending the National Guard and now the US Marines into our streets, after unarmed man and women. The press are being shot at on live TV. It is crazy time!
