Everyone knows that 5-day RTOs are quiet layoffs, which erodes trust.

This matters because when you list a position as "hybrid", applicants have to ask themselves if the company will just pull the 5-day ripcord some day.

They're slightly safer is there is NO physical office they can possibly go into, because an RTO then is more explicitly a layoff.

This means applicants that value *some* WFH have to consider #Remote-only workplaces, despite benefits of hybrid.
