That is indeed a major upside. I used to fly in and out of Lynchburg, Virginia a lot before my parents both kicked the bucket.
And the only place that flights go to from there is Charlotte. So it's really like a gate that's very far from the Charlotte Airport, but it's just like a Charlotte Airport gate.
So the bad news is, if there's a problem, you're not going anywhere. There are no alternatives, and there are frequently problems, and they can charge whatever they want because they know they got you.
It's funny to look up at the sign that has the list of all the air flights that are leaving, and they all say "Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte."
