I intentionally watched this film in a format that is not the ideal that the director intended, because I know that a great movie doesn't need the highest tech possible presentation to fucking blow you away with its power. That's part of why I can very confidently tell you this is not a great movie.

Last year we saw Alien in the same theater. When I tell you it looked great...oh my god. I'd never seen Alien on the big screen before. It's incredible. It looks like a million bucks.
