Thanks. Yeah a little Googling turns up some landfills but I am wondering if, given the volume of garbage produced, if it all stays in California, or if some of it is sent away.
In earlier eras part of the answer was incineration but the last couple of those are (I believe) on target for being shuttered. One in Long Beach, other in Central Valley. SOOOO toxic.
