Really low IQ reliably implies stupidity
High IQ however is not reliable. There are lots of weirdos who just happen to be good at recognizing patterns in stick drawings, but are not that good at much else.
This actually makes total sense though, because "really smart" is super hard to identify, if you know what a smart person would say, you are a smart person, because you can just say it. Therefore IQ becomes a worse and worse metric as the number goes up.
