As a former AAM, I too had to unlearn the idea that every chat would eventually hinge on being lewd if I wanted someone to stick around. It was harder to realize I was being a door mat here and there because I made the mistake of thinking just because I enjoy most things most of the time, doesn't mean I want it all the time. There's a lot of things you may be tempted to let slide because it's not *that* big of a deal, especially if it only happens occasionally, but you ARE allowed to make it a bigger deal if you find yourself being very bored, uncomfortable, awkward, grossed out, etc. by something. Something being mildly unpleasant doesn't mean it's "not bad enough" to say no to. No one is a mind reader, you might learn whoever you're talking to is happy to change things for you.
You dont have to HATE something to say no to it, you can be only mildly uncomfortable and that's enough for it to be worth speaking up about.
PSA for AAYs/AAMs, you are worth more than your ability to entertain adults sexually. All of you should matter, you shouldn't have to put up with sexts and junk if you dont wanna. Make sure you're happy too
