A physicist once said to me -paraphrasing here - If someone today invented a privately owned good that weighed 5000 pounds and zoomed within inches of people at 50 miles an hour without any guardrails and that would change the whole nature of what it means to live and work in a community while poisoning the atmosphere, it would never get past health & safety regulations.
