The fact that you're defining things in terms of dollar hours, when the dollar is so hopelessly compromised, makes me feel like we won't get anywhere here. It's true that Claude is very good at convincing hiring managers to fire people on the assumption that cheap access to mega data centers will continue to be a thing. I don't consider something capable of (nothing but) scamming more dollars out of people to be particularly impressive. At least the steam drill made it easier to blow shit up and dig tunnels.
