I have a banker friend who I orange pilled big time. He comes from that world, so he's always asking my opinion on TA, he hasn't understood I know nothing about it. I try to point out that I am pretty knowledgable about Bitcoin and I have no idea what the price is going to do, so how does he expect his TA friends to know what Bitcoin price is going to do?
He said his TA friends had told him the price was going down (this was when BTC was around $90K). He asked what did I think? I told him I didn't know. Then the price went down.
I haven't had the follow up conversation with him yet, but BTC has a 50/50 chance of going up or down, so his TA mates made the right call on a coin flip.
He will, I expect, be led by confirmation bias and assume his TA friends understand Bitcoin price action better than me.
They might, or they might not. I don't know. The only thing I can advise is I don't know and I can guarantee that I am 100% right.
