I have a thing called a Lapdock? It looks like a laptop, but there's no computer in it. You plug a SBC or phone into it via USB-C. The keyboard and touchpad are kinda garbage, but it also has standard USB ports that I just plug in normal keyboard/mouse hardware. Android has a "desktop" feature these days that puts it into a windowed mode. Works surprisingly well.
