Inalienable ≠ inviolable

You have to understand what Ellerman means. Inalienable, for Ellerman, means consent isn’t a sufficient condition to transfer. That’s it. Just because consent doesn’t transfer the moral right doesn’t necessitate it being inviolable. Another example of an inalienable right is the right to life, but criminal actions can violate this right.
