I once witnessed a car accident in a shopping mall parking lot. The person at fault, the other car was parked so it’s easy to tell who was at fault, was a total ass. I took their license plate down and waited for the parked cars owner to come back. They called the police and reported it. I have my info and details of the other driver. I was a pedestrian BTW.

A few weeks later I get a call from the at fault driver’s insurance claiming I was at fault and was suing me. True story!
