I really want to get it going on Linux. Last time I had almost finished syncing and it failed and I didn't know how to fix it. So frustrating. I have a machine though that can do it.

GM Morning! Here’s to a day filled with hope and #Lightning’s success.
Got some new gloves yesterday (Triumph Raven Mesh). They were on the clearance rack but they weren't marked down. The salesman gave me discount on them anyway, cheaper than the other pair I was looking at. They are comfy and have a different feel than my daily driver gloves (Revit Volcano). There is no knuckle production but for my daily commute rides I think they will be great. I don't always ride fully geared up anyway.

上网冲浪看到说，一棵（提供木材的）树在生命的前20年没办法产生任何木材，因为树是以高度和直径生长的，小树本身很细，对于给定的高度和直径增长，增加的体积很少。
这些树要等到40-50年的时候每年才会开始产出可以使用的木材的量。而80年以上的老树每年都可以产出非常多的木材而且质量更高。
然而想取得这些木材就必须把树整个砍倒，再种上新树苗重新开始。
所以这里就有一个矛盾，一棵树活得越久木材over时间的比值越高，但是等待的时候是没有任何产出的。这里理论上有个科学上的最优解，大概在100年。
但现实中一棵树往往很早就被砍倒了。我觉得是因为树的周期太长了，远大于人的寿命。现在我如果栽种一棵树，要等到孙子甚��曾孙子辈才能收获利益。谁会在乎这么久的事呢。
甚至这种伐木后人工种植的行为都是最近几十年来才出现的，因为更早的时候遍地都是老树需要木材砍了就行根本不用考虑可持续性。
我觉得人直觉上没办法理解这么久的时间概念，必须按照严格的科学计算来说服自己。但是大家总是会觉得一棵树有什么大不了的，砍早了也不少这一棵，眼下要赚钱才是要紧事。这让我感觉很悲观。
不知道生活中还有什么例子有如此长的周期，让人当下的行为无论怎样都看不到结果，没办法建立feedback的直觉。这是人类认知的一个bug。

Took a new position today to bridge AI-energy.
Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente - Spanish solar PV utility, transforming to EU datacenter play $SLR. In at $18.4
Solaria owns private network, substations, 3GW of mostly solar PV power, that rapidly scales to 4GW.
EV= 3.9B
Typical datacenter regions Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin - are grid and space constrained.
Spain and Solaria wins here. Peninsula well connected to inter-atlantic cables, while regulations allow for direct plug and play, circumventing grid connection queues
Last year, first deal of its kind inked w/ Merlin.
They invest aggressively into scaling + BESS (batteries) at every solar park, to increase margins, availability. Based on their presentation BESS payback time is ~3 years.
Balance sheet considerably levered x5 net debt/EBITDA, incl. IFRS 16 land lease.
However they have strengthened balance sheet after Q1, raising 300M at 24€ (~10% share capital increase; of which 3.85% sold treasury shares)
Technically risky, but potential reversal forming.
In 26'Q1 call, CEO Arturo was clearly holding back good news on assets monetization, deals for capital markets day sometime in H2.
