It certainly would help improve the user experience. Fewer relays would give users a more comparable “centralized big tech” experience where things just work, likes and follower stats mean something, less unexplained gaps in the timeline, etc.
winning, slow but steady, one bitcoiner at a time. 🤝
vaguely remember firechat, but looks discontinued per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FireChat?wprov=sfti1#
No sweat, you nailed the attire portion of the interview with flying colors. 🤙
Price pressure building... 😀 👀
One of my favorite next generation IOS / iPad wallets is @npub1ajl…zx3q by @npub1jan…x52y. Low transaction fees, good privacy, secure, and they make it super simple to send and receive Bitcoin without having to worry about whether it is going over Bitcoin layer 1 or Lightning. Definitely check it out if you haven't already.

Yeah I’m sure it’s improving and fast, I’m learning a lot (and there’s a lot still to learn I’m very knew to this). For now I don’t want to get a computer just use a cold wallet, I’m usually moving so I use ipad and iphone only.
Understandable - everyone has to start somewhere! Lightning and L2 tech is improving at an incredible rate and this will make it easier for small denominated hot wallets with low fees on a mobile phone.
😅 there is a hint of truth to that... the relationship dynamic between grandkids and grandparents is very different. I was very close with my Grandma growing up because she didn't put up with the BS I dished out to my parents on a regular basis. Couldn't do the same when spending summers with Grandma on the farm!
You know why grandparents and grandchildren get along so well?
They share a common enemy. 😏
But a lot of us don’t use computers. So cold wallets are not as attractive.
Helped a friend receive their first Bitcoin yesterday with a Coldcard Q + Sparrow setup. This next generation of Bitcoiners has so many amazing tools and resources at their disposal... The future is looking bright. 🫡 🌅

Insta-follow for this poast on the marxists 🤙
congrats on your new freedom 🫡
Being a great engineer is a journey not a destination. Nice PoW. 💪
The family is not a democratic institution, it is a hierarchical institution. So trying to democratize the family is in fact a step towards the destruction of the family. - Ryszard Legutko https://x.com/janjekielek/status/1830649478614773874
Brian Armstrong has been just as dangerous to the long-term mission of Bitcoin and sound money as Roger Ver. The difference is instead of trying to change Bitcoin he has gone with a full tilt embrace of the surveillance state and crony capitalism.
you might check out sparrow wallet. it’s very good at giving you full visibility and control.
super excited to check it out! noStrudel is my fav nostr client. 🤩
i got you my man…

underline is a nice improvement
nifty spittin fire today 🤙
nah, it’s the world that is cooked without ₿
1. Bitcoin is a new form of human language with the singular purpose of communicating value.
2. Due to its revolutionary design, Bitcoin value exchange occurs peer to peer and cannot be stopped or coopted by third parties (gov inflation, chargebacks, account freezes, etc). Unlike traditional language, the message is never subject to misinterpretation.
3. Value exchange is a building block upon which all human interaction occurs. Imagine a world where this cornerstone of civilization is all signal and no noise. Instead of the compounding inefficiencies of fiat we now have uncorrupted and instantaneous global value communication.
So yeah, I’m gonna go with Bitcoin all day long. ✌️₿

generating revenue by selling their own token is effectively fund-raising, but in a sneaky way (by diluting existing token holder value.) and if they can’t fund-raise in btc, it doesn’t say much about their confidence in the product.
nice. i like doing 36 hour fasts once a week. for me, the hardest part is around 18 hours and doing some light cardio then actually helps reduce the hunger.
Sorry my bad... after checking it looks like Obsidian is *not* open source. However Logseq most definitely is. Another open source project that I've had my eye on and you may want to check out is SilverBullet: https://silverbullet.md/ . I really like the server-first PWA design, but I've got so much momentum with Logseq that I haven't been able to do a proper evaluation yet.
shower (and travel) inspiration is the best, keep going 💡💪
I get the sense that a LOT of their early users switched to open source alternatives... primarily Logseq and Obsidian. Logseq is now my daily driver for "Personal Knowledge Management" and I really love the forward and backward linking capabilities. But it is a pain in the butt to use on mobile and to get syncing to work well.
This is the type of content I'm here for... 🤓
have this and can confirm it works great so far, even for high watt usage like a kettle or tools. i also like their app which can monitor and control over both bluetooth and wifi.
Cool, always on the lookout for some high quality pants. What store if you don't mind sharing?
Nice. The thing that comes to my mind is NGU on your Nostr Follows. 🤙

“Interstella 5555” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstella_5555:_The_5tory_of_the_5ecret_5tar_5ystem
cool mix. if you haven’t seen it, i can immediately recommend Interstellar 5555. especially if you like Daft Punk and/or Captain Harlock style anime. it’s one of my all time favorites, a totally unique creation, and surprisingly unknown.
Amazing... wish I was there. BTC Prague looks like a fantastic destination for such an event. 😻 🤙
This looks super cool.. reminds me a little bit of the now defunct [Path](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Path_(social_network)) social network service. Which was very clean and easy to use with a small group of friends. 🫰
Would you recommend these to someone who wants to try out using fountain pens for the first time?
the money humanity desperately needs is a good money for your enemies. i also have reason to believe that a money like this actually increases our incentives to resolve conflicts and settle disputes.
Wow... just wow. Talk about solving the wrong problems and not understanding motivation and incentives.
I can't wait for call centers to become even worse and less human with this new "technology"!! 🤦♂️
