I don’t experience such but I lose my patience real fast and suddenly, when I experience something bothersome to me. For example; Someone approaches me for attention but fails to say a simple greet. If in that very moment of stress, I could somehow remember this tip and I could apply it, it would be wonderful and it could spare me the aggravation. ^^^^ Over 40, still believes in this shit, and haven't impoverished and/or self-selected myself out of society. Sure I'm probably seen as a bit of an iconoclast to my "normies" friends and community but I'm not about to retreat to some rural compound to Sun my Taint, or whatever.
The problem here is that people want "Bitcoiner" to be some kind of all-encompassing personal identity, and it's just not, and it never was. The Extropian community that was the proto-context for eCash and all of this was part of a broader basket of radical transhumanist self-transformation. It wasn't just about money, or the State, it was about science, technology, and making humanity better.
In contrast, by trying to stretch Bitcoin into a "thick" identity, people wind up just adopting a basket of MAGA-adjacent "Qanon Shaman" beliefs systems to spackle in the gaps of "how do I live?"
Yes, it's a canard but: zoom out. Adopt a longer perspective. You think the USD is going to last forever? You think there's anything better out there? We win every time we "hodl."
