What kind of Android device are you using?
I see your replays are walking around outside. One thing it could be is unstable internet connection.
One thing you could try is setting camera settings to LOW setting.

- what device and os (Android, iOS?)
- what server (Shosho server, some other)
- what version of the app (latest?)
- what happens with the disconnection? Does it stream for a while before disconnecting? Does it fail to connect at all? How long does it go for?
Server disconnects is an important problem to solve and could be at our end.

I am not 100% sure I understand. Are you saying you wish for us to publish a 30311 live event from an existing HLS m3u8 URL you already have?
We can do that on the Shosho.live website using the Show Chat feature. It takes a m3u8 URL, and starts a background service which periodically checks for liveness and republishes the 30311 to keep you as live on the network.
There is a genius patent trolling idea here.
Conceive of every authoritarian's every wet dream surveillance technology.
Patent each and every thing you come up with.
Assume the surveillance panopticon will eventually require this by law to be implemented.
Then just don't implement or license, but hold everyone who does so in breach of patent.

I just find it takes less initiative so I can't steer it with leading questions like I would a real team member
I prefer Claude as I find I can work with it like a person. Codex works well for long running highly specified tasks, but is very annoying to work closely with.
Simple e.g.
Me: "did you run tests?"
Claude: "you're right to ask, no I didn't, I should, let me run those now, oh one failed, let me fix it, let me run again, ok they all pass now. I have now run tests and all are green"
Vs
Me: "did you run tests?"
Codex: "no"
Me: "run them now"
Codex: "I have run them and one test is failing"
...
And so on, so you have to waste time with Codex with five or six subsequent prompts to get to the same outcome.
Candidly I didn't get back to it yet!

Hi. Late to this party but Mar is right. NIP-53 outlines that if a live event has not had an update in a while, to assume it is a zombie and treat it as if offline. Heartbeat is a good word for it.
For 24/7 streams we have just launched a backend service for keeping such shows alive by checking them for liveness and then updating the event every 15 minutes. It's part of the new "Shows" feature we rolled out.
It's free. Feel free to use it. You should see the channels remain shown as live on more clients.
Hi @nprofile…3ghq can condensed view be stateful? So when I "pop out window" it remains in condensed mode?
Also, for some reason when I pop out window, the condensed mode toggle is non-responsive. Testing on Firefox Android.
It gives a whole different view of how busy this place is watching the global kind 7 feed.
I now how a whole monitor running nothing but Grimoire columns.
