China has implemented similar tech but in their case, the data is centrally stored and managed by the state, which isn't compatible in Western societies because it's dangerous for the government to have our data.

I've come to realize that the duty of the father is to instill discipline. Children don't have much willpower. It's your job to lend them yours when they don't have enough and to grow whatever willpower they have.
The lack of fatherly discipline is a fiat phenomenon and it shows in the kinds of adults that has been produced.

I didn't even know the Whitehouse had live streaming on their website. I've never watched any of their live streams. I researched it and they just use YouTube as the streaming source.
Do you think they will move to nostr someday? Yes, but not anytime soon because managing the nsec is the biggest problem for companies/governments right now and also comment moderation doesn't really yet on nostr. They would probably have to run their own relay. Lots to do on nostr if you want to be self-sovereign.

The problem I see with big podcasters like Joe Rogan, Lex Fridman who are real humans and have a good reputation, is that some of us suspect they are intelligence agents or blackmailed, so their proof of work/humanness may be good at the beginning, but as soon as they get big, the deep state moves in on them.
I guess it depends on how good the AI voice is, if it's so good you can't tell the difference from a real human, most people will care less as times goes on, but lots of people still prefer to see the actual podcaster in human form, I don't like seeing the avatar but bothers me less now that the voice is so human like,
I don't have a link to the video, I didn't save it but it was an Iran US war channel with barely any subscribers, pro IRGC in English, it was very strange because I'm not sure which AI, but it had small mistakes that I could tell it was AI but more advanced then the ones I have used

you can use tools like Burrow and Pika, they are MLS apps for OpenClaw bots to use and humans to use. my Burrow is not as far along as Pika since i haven't worked on it in a while. try Pika ;)

Seen a number of these going around. Definitely provides value, not debating that, just also think proof of work/humanness will become increasingly valuable as the ratio of AI-to-human content increases.

it's completely bypassing the news media, it's someone who got ai to write the script then they use another ai to read it and record it, and they use another ai to turn the avatar who reads it into a human character talking into a microphone,
it's getting to the point that it's a podcaster, have yet to the ai podcaster be invited to talk on another podcast, but it's getting there.
I like it because the grammar and perfect and message is clear, to the point it's better then a human podcaster, sometimes you can't tell it's an AI voice

podcasters are already getting replaced by ai, I listen to podcasts made by ai as the voices are getting so human that it sounds like a real human, it doesn't bother me because the voices sound like real humans
