It's automatically added. Each nsec has a wallet regardless if the user wants it or not.
If anyone is doxxed it's those who will think that SENDING on-chain zaps (from their hodl or DCA wallets) will be a good idea. Seriously there is opsec and then there is paranoia and then there is making noise.

I don't understand the problematic.
* A client adds on-chain zaps (for whatever reason)
* You then have ONE on-chain address receiving zaps
You receive a few thousand sats in zaps and then you're worried about the UTXO history? Bridge that dust back to LN, end of story. Unless someone uses an on-chain address linked to a real persona nostr npub and then is so stupid to use that address to receive large amounts of money, what you all bitching about?

These days I don't tell people to fork anymore. AI can just rebuild for them anything they need. There is no need to fork. The value of code itself is literally zero.
If you put it all into one output and send it to yourself (same address) should it not get picked up?

The nostr protocol doesn't give af. Doesn't censor anyone and quite generally it couldn't care less if you use it or not.
and then there is clients. Clients do different things based on whatever the product goal is and quite frankly there is a client for everyone. So if some clients add or remove stuff you don't like, use a different one. It's really that simple.
I find it great that some developers are experimenting with new clients to attract new users (in different ways). We can't expose nostr to enough markets to spread to new users. Some of them will be happy with the client they start with, others will dive down the nostr rabbit hole and explore and learn and the rest will bounce and it doesn't matter if that app has zaps or doesn't or uses g-authentication or key authentication. While nostr is great, it's not for everyone and never will be... just like pineapple pizza.
But yeah, if an app adds things you don't want to use, then don't use it but let them do their thing and stop turning everything into end of world alike dramas.

Though I feel at some point someone will ask how did you zap me or where did you zap me. Ultimately this is a UX issue.

Gonna need a new name for on-chain zaps. They're not Lightning. There is no "zap" involved. Someone call up the head of marketing and put some top Nostriches on it.
Just pick what comes naturally.
