The Spirit of Nostr Law is to be as free as possible.
The letter of Nostr Law says this is only possible by incessantly posting about Bitcoin 24/7.
But that law is outdated, & archaic like most “laws” are.
And most laws aren’t even laws they’re control rules.

Most people even famous people on here get so little traction that even @‘ing them is considered daily Nostr action.
We were all once normies.
We don’t have to convince everyone, we just have to sway the ones we can influence.

If I couldn't run older clients from before they went full vibe slop, I'd probably have left Nostr and replaced it with nothing. If Nostr is defined by janky software and everyone just sort of laughs about it without taking it seriously, it's not worth supporting.
Luckily, the primitives of Nostr allow you to make your own Nostr that's not jank. And if the jank enjooyers hate that then you're on the right track.
