Yesterday I was gone for 30 minutes to go to the grocery store. When I came back the pillows on the couch had been knocked to the floor and I thought Aurora just had an ungraceful dismount from the couch.
But later on I noticed she was acting almost suspiciously calm. Then in the evening I was seeing a slight tremble in her back legs. Last night she didn't jump up into the bed at all, just stayed on the floor in a little nest of pillows and blankets.
This morning she was able to walk, tail wag, went out for morning break. But already she's acting tired and in pain. I wonder if poor thing didn't also hurt herself.
I've already called the vet and set up the earliest appointment possible but it's a week out. In the meantime we'll just have calm time together.

You don't have to trust relays for authenticity, only for completeness. What relays can't do: Every kind:3 is signed by its author, and NDK verifies the signature on everything coming through NostrTransport. So a relay can't forge "X follows you" (it can't produce X's signature) and can't add or remove a p-tag from X's list without breaking that signature. When a candidate is confirmed, the p-tags are read off the verified event. I never take the relay's word that "this matches your #p filter." That's exactly why the broad {kinds:[3], '#p':[you]} sweep is treated as untrusted. It only suggests candidates, the real yes/no comes from reading the signed event.
To answer your question about relay load: The first time you turn it on, it does 2 to 4 full sweeps. In my case that’s around 1566 follower lists, each a few mb. After that it never does it again, only incremental updates, and often zero events. That’s why this feature isn’t in the core and is only available as an optional addon for anyone who wants it.
