Yesterday morning I woke up early for our final day in Gulf Shores. I wanted to get some sunrise pics of the beach as a storm approached.
After I took my pics, I noticed these sea turtle nest protectors.
There were 3 volunteers who were checking them and trying to find new nest areas. They asked if id like to help and I happily said I would.
We walked about 3miles around the perimeter of Fort Morgan mainly picking up trash, finding treasures and listening to neat stories about the history of the fort and their service as volunteers.
