There is a targeted phishing campaign happening right now involving the @npub1s0v…pq6j email domain. Messages are being sent to a large number of addresses that have appeared in data breaches urging people to migrate funds from their devices.
Obviously this is a scam, and there’s no indication that Foundation’s own data was leaked, but the question I want an answer to is how were these attackers able to spoof the email headers to allow these emails to appear legitimate?

Yeah, that’s pretty bad news if they were able to spoof the DKIM and DMARC headers.

I checked my spam folder, and lo and behold, I got the same email. I never purchased a Foundation device or gave them any of my email addresses, so this is clearly a mass-mailing to a list obtained from another source.
It appears many people are trying to reinvent Nostr.land, but more expensive.
We have been operating relays since 2022 :)
The important question is: How did they get your email address?
