I'm on the verge of taking a terrifying step (well, terrifying for me).

I always anguish when I'm not being pathologically consistent with my presence, engagement, contributions, and "public output" (even when privately productive)
...in digital spaces like #Mastodon
...in my #art and #writing
...in everything...
In the past, I've forced consistency to points beyond #burnout.
What if it's okay to be inconsistent?
What if that doesn't mean anything about me other than I am not a machine?

I added a little splashed-on paint stain in the bottom corner of my #website and it makes me disproportionately happy for such a tiny thing...
...I think it feels more "me" to stain ANYTHING I have that's clean and new. 🙃

Hi. I'm terrified.
I've been trying to make my own space on the web for years. And I've been stuck. Badly.
But today is my birthday. And I refuse to let another year pass without putting something—anything—out there.
