As an owner of almost every portable console from Sony and Nintendo...I really must say USB C should have been standard 10-15 years earlier. Good lord.
I've seen chargers you gamers wouldn't believe.
3DS chargers that don't charge Wii U. PSP chargers with a USB-A side that still use a 5V connector on the other.

Well, the shutdown nonsense is a good reminder things aren't getting better anytime soon (no one's talking about it but they slipped a Hemp THC ban in the 'deal' too.).

My biggest transition advice is do it *now*.
Every legal/medical process takes 10x longer than you're thinking, 99% of it is reversible and all the irreversible stuff takes months and your doctor/etc will likely fight tooth and nail to not let you.
Get the new name, swap the pronouns, buy some clothes. There is no reason to delay if it is safe for you.

Cool! I've never gotten deep into TNT or Plutonia, didn't enjoy Thy Flesh Consumed as much TBH. The extra Doom 2 episode that comes with Doom 3 BFG is legit though. I should try one of the Final Doom things some time
Make sure you play Doom 64 btw if you haven't, the PC and Playstation ports are fantastic!

I was too bad at the game (I was like 4 and the default controls on dos were...bad) but I refused to stop playing on Ultra Violence (it's COOL@!!!), but I cheated instead, which was somehow fine, but choosing the WIMPY sounding difficulties was not

Fun #gardening thing: One of my reservoirs stopped working in my Aerogardens. Pumped and pumped, finally pulled it up and--the ROOTS had GROWN INTO IT
I could only pull out half, not sure what to do with it? It's mostly in the final plastic tube that goes into a slot in the garden, but I think the plastic is glued to the rubber hose so I don't want ot break it free just to pull out roots if I can avoid it.

Trying to use threads for this again.
Currently playing: Wild Arms 2, PS1 (on PS5)
Took down the big bad's flying machine, nobody's being sacrificed (yet), went to Magic School (well before harpy porper). The game might not look as good as FF8 or 9, but the graphics are evokative enough. There's some sidequest with "wrong" destinations when teleporting I'm trying, love that stuff, secret places.
