I had it done with my previous generation SE. I think at that time there was a software flaw that was draining the battery and the replacement was covered but it usually is not.
If you find yourself regularly getting below 20% I’d recommend getting it done. As someone else said, the degradation happens slowly so it’s not necessarily noticeable, but after the swap it’s WOW.

I was in the neighborhood of a college roommate so it was a lot of families just outside of their houses. Really cool. And nice to not have to go anywhere after!

That was also my second, seen from Cleveland. Seven years earlier I was in Wyoming.

Back in the day I put Road to Ruin and Rocket to Russia on opposite sides of a cassette so I wouldn’t wear out the vinyl. Got a LOT of use.
