So in an update from yesterday in the last week for Reform, six people gone for racism, two people died before the election but were voted in anyway. five quit as they didn't realise it wasn't paid, one quit as he thought he was standing for parliament, at least one has been found to be completely made up

this email domain and most others are not in blocklists as they don't spam from the emails themselves. I've sent Hetzner an abuse report on the main email system and added the reverse MX lookups domains to our Blocklist.

Discovered this morning that the spam AI Slop had a human signing up and then inviting the AI Slop as a way to circumvent the Approval sign ups.
Finally managed to ban outright the main culprit email system smtp.oneb.net
Someone is spending an entire data centres output into getting AI accounts singing up to Mastodon. Really i could do with white list options for email domains instead at this point

Hot weather Sunday evening ambient. This clear vinyl now offered to retail a full 2 years after only being avaliable online. This variant just asking for trouble being clear and 45rpm. I actually went out and also tried the black only for that to be a pop click fest. Sigur Ros really don't do well with their vinyl quality control.

Im reading so many posts about issues with mastodon instances. Honestly if your main instance is constantly problematic you can always migrate to one , like this one, that is constantly online.
Cupoftea.social was born out the fact that so many were having problems when the great migration happened in Nov 2022. I just wanted one that worked.

Moderation in itself is a fulltime job. I run a small instance in cupoftea.social but moderation is mostly due to the servers it federates with.
I have an extensive blocklist in place to what I call wasteland instances but even then if they are on the bigger instances it really does become whack a mole along with quite a few ive notice that actually change instances and even create new ones just to circumnavigate suspensions.
Ive never seen any of my users get any sort of attack and I suspend anyone that does it right away or any instance that enables it or does not moderate in a timely fashion.
This is a place of peace.

I dont even have that. I have a 50mm prime or a Tokina 16-28mm for Landscapes.
I havent bought anything else for my Nikon D810 since I got it like 6 years ago. Luckily the 2nd hand market now is pretty good for these lenses so Ill pick something up
